Many
students face a difficult situation after their
intermediate (+2). At that point of time they
would have missed the opportunity to get into
a Medical or Engineering course. Adding to their
disappointment of not qualifying in EAMCET they
would be facing a lot of confusion in deciding
about their steam of education. At this stage
proper encouragement and guidance is needed to
infuse confidence in to them and to place them
on the right track as is the turning point of
their career.
Taking inspiration
from the teachings of Swami Vivekananda we formed
into a group of young workers to serve to society
through the medium of education and the result
is Sree Saiprasad
Educational Society. We
wish to impart Quality Education which not only
prepares students for Graduation but also
makes them full-fledged citizens to face the
trails and tribulations of life. |

To make a beginning we have established Swami
Vivekananda Degree College (SVDC) in
2002 in Mahabubnagar district known to be relatively
backward area in Andhra Pradesh. Very soon we realized
from the spontaneous response to our venture from
the students and parents, that people in this area
are very receptive to the changing needs of the times.
In reciprocations to their favored response, we are
trying our best to introduce all the modern courses
in the college, which are in demand and which can
help students succeed in the present competitive
environment.
To impart educational services to
the society different UG/PG courses in distance education
stream have been introduced. These courses are being
offerd from Kakatiya University and Nagarjuna University.
Our approach has always been positive
and we welcome suggestions from all corners. We request
the students to help us serve them better and parents
to strengthen our hands to achieve success in our endeavor.
At this juncture all we need
is support and encouragement. Our endeavor is to
erase the view that this a backward district in education.We
can achieve our objective with your co-operation.

The College
Swami Vivekananda
Degree college is
established in the year 2002 at Mahabubnagar with several
courses in science and commerce at undergraduate
level. This college is affiliated to Osmania University. SVDC is
a self financed institution structured on a solid
foundation of sound academic policies and principles.
The college is co-educational and
imparts education in both Telugu and English media.
Students are given the benefit of experienced teaching
that is merged with state of the art observational
facilities. With an impressive faculty and senior
academicians on advisory board, SVDC is
ever alert to the standard of education imparted and
maintains strict vigilance on the quality of instruction.
SVDC has
an environment conducive to peaceful learning. In
science courses students have access to elaborately
equipped laboratoties for each of the streams. The
college building is centrally located and can be reached
from any part of the town with out difficulty. More
and more girls are seeking admission in this college
drawn by the advantage of its location. The college
has spacious and well ventilated building with required
number of classrooms and labs.
SVDC is
ever alert to changing needs of the society. In B.SC
and B.Com. the college has introduced innovative and
futuristic courses like
Biotechnology,
Microbiology,Biochemistry, Electronics and computer
Science along with traditional subjects like Botany,
Zoology, Maths, Physics, Statistics etc.
Owing to the efforts of our young
and devoted faculty the college has achieved good
results in the very first year of its inception. Students
have also made a mark in games as one of our girl
students secured a Gold medal in National Games in
Net Ball event.The
college encourages all curricular and extracurricular
activities. Osmania University has sanctioned two
N.S.S units to this college. Our students have organized
and participated in N.S.S special camps, mega camps
and educational tours.Our girl student
has

in National Integration camp of NSS.
Apart from normal educational activities
the college also helps and guides students in career
planning. Our staff members are devoted and fricndly.
They motivate the students to take up activities
which are helpful in deciding their destiny. We are
well equipped to meet all the needs of students to
achieve all-round development
