The college provides ample chance for co curricular and extracurricular activities. Students will be encouraged to take part in sports, essay writing, elocution, and quiz competitions. Students who make their mark will be suitably rewarded by the management by sanctioning scholarships.

College encourages study tours, field trips and excursions. Every year excursions are planned to places of scientific and historical interest. These trips will help students for practical learning.

To involve students in community service and personality development, Osmania University has sanctioned two N.S.S units to SVDC. Several students have already participated in special camps, mega camps. Participation in NSS activities helps to improve student's alround personality development.
